In the event that a Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting product is determined to be defective in materials or workmanship within warranty period, Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting, will replace the product upon meeting the following criteria:
Under normal conditions of use, this protection is extended for three (3) seasons on electrical wiring and accessories, two (2) seasons on all replaceable bulbs, and one (1) season on LED Light Strands. Obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement or repair of any part found to be defective. Under the discretion of the manufacturer.Gen Lighting / Triple O will inspect all returned products for misuse and or damage prior to replacement of product. For the purpose of this warranty, one season is defined as one installation and removal for a duration lasting no more than 120 consecutive days.
All items not specifically listed are covered by a one season (120 day) warranty.
Labor to install or remove and cost of shipping are not included in this warranty and are expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. Bulb burnouts or electrical damage caused by the buyer or weather elements, or damage caused by rough handling, or transit are not covered by this warranty. Therefore, units should be inspected and tested for bulb outage upon delivery and prior to installation. All merchandise is carefully inspected before packing and is packed in an approved manner in approved cartons when it leaves the warehouse.
Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting will not replace or issue credit for any product that has been misused, mishandled or improperly installed, as determined by our inspection upon return. Gen Lighting is not responsible for replacement or credit of any Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting products once the specified warranty period expires. In the event that a product is misused or damaged by the customer prior to the expiration of the warranty period, Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting disclaims all obligations under this Warranty. Warranty is not transferable unless approved, in writing, by Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting, prior to any warranty claim. Any physical damage, changes to the product, or defacing of labels on parts & components voids warranty. EXCEPT FOR THE FOREGOING, Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR USE OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. In no event shall Gen Lighting / Triple O Lighting be liable for any other costs or damages, including lost profits, return shipping costs, incidental, special or consequential damages. Any returned products under the following conditions will result in a 35% restocking fee and the customer will incur the freight charges: Customer ordered incorrect product. Un-opened or un-used product for its intended purpose.
No merchandise returns will be accepted without prior written authorization. Return requests will be accepted for credit if submitted and approved within 30 days of receipt of product. Custom and all non-stocked items are nonreturnable.
Acceptance of Merchandise
All claims of merchandise delayed, lost, or damaged in transit are the responsibility of the consignee/customer. When accepting a shipment, claims of any missing cartons or visible damage must be noted on the delivery driver’s bill of landing or the receipt of delivery. All claims must be filed with the delivering carrier. Failure to properly file claims may result in refusal of the claim by the carrier.
